We are excited to finally get back to the ballpark.
Montgomery American will adhere to the ADPH Guidelines for Youth Athletic Activities.
We also will not share equipment. Catchers will have their own gear. Players will not share bats, masks, batting helmets, or anything else that I am leaving out.
During the game and when your team is at bat, parents may bring their child out of the dugout to sit with the family if you would like to. This is only to sit with the family. If you do this, make yourself very aware of the batting order so your player will be ready to go on deck.
We will have a limited Concession Stand. We will sell drinks, chips, and various candies. We will not cook food, pop popcorn, or have nachos. All of the items sold will be prepackaged.
We ask that you try to limit the number of people that you invite to come watch your child play. This is strange request I know, and we're not saying to keep the grandparents away. Just probably not the best idea to ask the neighborhood kids to come run around this season. Social distancing between families is an absolute must and smaller numbers will help with that tremendously.
Parking is always part of this season beginning email. We have over 600 regular parking spaces and we ask that you use them if you do not require a handicapped spot. Do not park along the split rail fencing and do not park in the back right corner of the lot which blocks emergency access to the lower fields. You will be towed. If you happen to get towed, Jacob's Towing will have your vehicle.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the ballpark and thank you for supporting Montgomery American.
